FREE GROUP INTRO KITESURFING LESSONS
Our Introductory Group kitesurfing lessons are here to accelerate your learning experience. You get all the basics in a fun and energetic environment for FREE!!!
Our instructors will ensure you know all the safety information and get you to fly a 4 line kite using all the necessary equipment. This is the perfect way to introduce you to the sport and ensure you can maximise gains in your water lessons.
This is an introductory lesson prior to getting in the water, so only one lesson is needed and it will accelerate your in-water lessons when you're ready to make the plunge.
Lesson Includes:
- 1.5 hours of instruction with a qualified and experienced Kiteboarding Australia Instructor
- Use of school's personal safety equipment - Harness, PFD and helmet
- Use of school's kitesurfing equipment - Inflatable leading edge kite, control bar with lines and a kite pump
Lessons take place at Largs Bay Sailing Club - 1 The Foreshore, Largs Bay SA 5016 (just north of the jetty).

LEARN TO KITESURF
At Ride Kitesurfing School, our qualified and experienced instructors teach people of all ages and from all walks of life to kitesurf in a safe and supportive environment. The minimum age to learn to kitesurf at Ride Kitesurfing is 12 years old, as part of our Junior Program.
Your instructor will start by covering all safety information that you need to know on the beach, then they’ll gradually introduce new concepts so you can move into the water and systematically learn the sport of kitesurfing.
Kitesurfing harnesses the power of the wind to pull the rider across the surface of the water. Our kitesurfing lessons in Adelaide teach all the skills you need to read and use the wind to navigate the water and waves.
1 STUDENT 1 INSTRUCTOR - 2 HOUR KITESURFING LESSON
Ride Kitesurfing’s 1-on-1 kitesurfing lessons are here to accelerate your learning experience. You get your own individual lesson, tailored to suit you and ensure you get maximum kite time. Our instructor will go at your pace. We can take things as slowly as you like, or if you’re really ready and gung-ho, you’ll be fast tracked into learning this great sport.
1-on-1 kitesurfing classes include use of school's personal safety & kitesurfing equipment - Inflatable leading edge kite, board, control bar with lines, kite pump, life Jacket, wetsuit, harness and a helmet.
Generally 4 lessons is adequate to get up and riding safely and confidently, however this can vary.
2 STUDENTS 1 INSTRUCTOR - 2.5 HOUR KITESURFING LESSON
Ok, so you’ve got a mate and you both want to learn. Come on down to Ride Kitesurfing and we’ll teach both of you, together. This is an easy way to be able to enjoy some time with a friend or a family member and be able to get started on your kitesurfing journey. Compared to 1-on-1 kitesurfing lessons, this is a more affordable alternative and yes, we still run through all the same stuff.
